Maarten Wegdam

I am researcher, ICT architect, advisor and project manager for innovative ICT projects. I have a background in industry R&D labs (KPN Research, Bell Labs). Since 2008 I work for Novay, in the Human-centric Service department. I am the Operations Manager for this department.  I also have a position at the Computer Science department of the University of Twente (Information Systems group). Within Novay, I coordinate the area of Identity & Trust, and do business development in this area.

 

I'm an expert in the wide area of distributed systems, middleware and ICT architecture. More specific expertise is on identity federation, mobile applications, privacy, context awareness, trust, personalization, business modelling, trust frameworks, architecture, user-centric computing, service platforms, scalability and interoperability.
