Maarten Wegdam

Maarten Wegdam is a researcher, ICT architect, consultant and project manager for innovative ICT projects. He has a background in industry R&D labs (KPN Research, Bell Labs). Since 2008 Maarten works for Novay, in the Human Centric Service department. He is Operations Manager for this department.  He also has a position at the Computer Science department of the University of Twente (Information Systems group). Within Novay, Maarten coordinates the area of Identity & Trust, and does business development in this area.

 

Maarten is an expert in the wide area of distributed systems, middleware and ICT architecture. More specific expertise is on identity federation, mobile applications, privacy, context awareness, trust, personalization, user centric computing, service platforms, scalability and interoperability.
