I am a research fellow at Telematica Instituut. He is currently group leader of the ‘Intelligent Communications’ research group (INCA), that focusses on ubiquitous computing. 

In particular, I am interested in mobility management, context awareness, personalisation, and the related privacy, identity, and trust aspects.

I have about 20 years experience in the area of networking and software technology, in particular for middleware environments. Besides the technological aspects, I work on applications for coaching, assisted living, and entertainment.
