ICT for better OAP care

How can we ensure that old people are able to live independently as long as possible? Given an ageing population, this is a question which is preoccupying more than a few minds. The Rosetta project is looking at how ICT can be deployed to optimally support old people and carers. In part, Rosetta is building on the results of COGKNOW, a European project which focused on raising quality of life for old people suffering from mild dementia. Novay will manage this part of the project, which is looking at memory support, social contacts, support for daily activities and the feeling of security among other issues.
