Hogeschool Utrecht (HU) is a university of applied sciences. Our graduates are fully qualified to practise their profession without further study, licensing or registration with a professional association. In addition, their diploma qualifies them for admission to several types of further study.
Hogeschool Utrecht is the third largest university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. We offer our 35,000 students a wide range of courses spread within six principal themes:

Most of our 80 programmes lead to a Bachelor’s degree, some lead to a Master’s degree. The Bachelor’s programmes require a minimum of four years of study, the Master’s programmes take between one and two years. Several of these programmes are in English.
